This is a game-used puck from the March 31, 2004 game between the New York Rangers and Buffalo Sabres at Madison Square Garden in New York. This was the last game of Mark Messier's NHL career, which the Sabres won 4-3. Sabre Dmitri Kalinin scored a goal with this puck at 2:56 of the third period on Mike Dunham, with the assists going to Chris Drury and Jochen Hecht. This was the fourth goal of the game for the Sabres, which turned out to be the game-winner in this historic game. Of the seven goals in this game, only five of the goal pucks were collected. The puck has a COA from the NHL/APOP/Meigray Group.
